Event partner SAP Spend Connect Innovation Day which was held on April 3 in Paris, Acxias brought together around forty managers and operational specialists in the digital transformation of purchasing and the supply chain to its “Digital Innovations” workshop. The agency specializing in SAP Procurement solutions (SAP Ariba And SAP S/4) notably presented two of its many breakthrough innovations: Quote.ai And Punch-out 4.0.
Based on theartificial intelligence, Quote.ai automates the creation of purchase requests to maximize user adoption and reduce wild buying while ensuring contractual compliance with purchasing-negotiated rates. The solution allows very significant productivity gains (5 FTE per 100,000 automated orders), substantial savings as well as cycle times shortened by a factor of one hundred.
For its part, Punch-out 4.0 combines the advantages of catalogs indexed and loaded into SAP Ariba: on the one hand the comparison of articles, the monitoring of price changes, and simple and direct use, on the other hand the advantages classic punch-out catalogs, with an item and price repository managed by the supplier and without obsolescence.
The day was punctuated by multiple interventions, including the presentation by Salvatore Lombardo, Chief Product Officer at SAP Ariba, of the current and future capabilities ofGenerative AI integrated into Source-to-pay solutions SAP Ariba, as well as workshopsEcoVadis, Icertis And Trustpair, with which Acxias collaborates on their respective areas of specialty: corporate social responsibility, advanced contract management and cybersecurity.
