Nearly two thirds of French companies (64%) would have suffered at least one attempt at transfer fraud in 2023, mainly through theft of a supplier's banking identity, reveals the new edition of theannual study de Trustpair, conducted last December by OpinionWay among 151 financial departments of organizations with more than 250 employees. In increase of 13 points, this proportion shows that the phenomenon is increasing in scale and danger, with an impact not only financial but also on the reputation of the company and its commercial relations. Faced with the ingenuity of cyber fraudsters who rely on ever more sophisticated technologies, the training of teams and traditional control methods (verification emails, phone calls, etc.) are no longer enough. The use of an automated anti-fraud tool, such as Trustpair Connector proposed by Acxias to control the banking details of suppliers in SAP Ariba, provides a more effective response to limit attempts and especially their success.
