When asked about the area in which theGenerative AI (IAGen) could be the most useful for them to gain efficiency, buyers are divided. In the survey launched by Acxias on the subject, supplier sourcing, market research andrisk analysis all three receive about a third of the responses. Nevertheless, in the current tense context, the process of identifying, evaluating and prioritizing risks, at all levels (financial, environmental, social, ethical, legal, etc.), stands out slightly: almost 37% of respondents believe that the IAGen should enable them to be more efficient and faster in anticipating hazards and implementing workaround measures. Beyond the three areas proposed in response to the survey question, more than 5% of participants imagine other possible use cases for purchasing, without mentioning them.

When buyers were asked about the best application areas to benefit from generative artificial intelligence (GenEA) to improve their efficiency, the responses reflected a diversity of opinions. The results of a survey conducted by Acxias on this topic reveal that supplier sourcing, market research and risk analysis equally share the attention of professionals, each receiving around a third of the responses. However, in the current context, marked by multiple tensions and uncertainties, a particular trend is emerging: the process of identifying, evaluating and prioritizing risks, through various parameters such as financial, environmental, social, ethical, legal, etc., comes off slightly. Indeed, nearly 37% of respondents consider that IAGen should play a crucial role in strengthening their capacity to quickly anticipate hazards and deploy circumvention measures more efficiently.
