Pressed by cascading regulatory obligations and new market constraints (shortage of supplies, false supplier fraud, climate change, etc.), the management of the Purchases redouble their efforts in terms of risk management, particularly with regard to corporate social responsibility (CSR). With more than 60 registrants and around forty participants, the Webinar on the topic recently organized by Acxias, with its partners EcoVadis And Sap, showed how digital solutions can provide an effective response to aggregate data from multiple sources, control it and issue alerts.
“To reduce the carbon footprint and improve solidarity, companies must collaborate on a large scale, in particular with the actors of their ecosystem purchasing and supply chain”, explained Nicolas Dussert, EcoVadis Southern Europe Sales Director. "They therefore need platforms to connect to this ecosystem, on which their approaches to societal and environmental issues depend, and to exchange information", added Vincent de Poret, EMEA Business Development Director for SAP Ariba and Fieldglass at SAP. To illustrate the point, the webinar ended with a demonstration by Acxias of the module SAP Ariba Risk Management connected to EcoVadis solutions.
