On the occasion of the 2023 Purchasing Trophies, organized by Républik Achats, the jury awarded a “special prize” to Acxias for its Purple video series. This trophy rewards an original and innovative initiative to promote purchases, by presenting trends and digital innovations in the field in a fun and offbeat way.

Monday, June 19, at the Modagor Theater, was held the 16th edition of the Purchasing Trophies, an event organized by Republic Group. In front of more than 900 people, Acxias, the Digital Procurement agency, was awarded the “ special jury prize for his video series « Purple » presenting the latest trends in the world of shopping in an offbeat and humorous way. From the meeting between a buyer of the 90s and a buyer of today, on the principle of "Back to the future", will be born in thread of episodes a pedagogical relationship around digital innovations in the purchasing department. "This series is not only a very good tool for promoting the digitization of the function, but it allows to put purchases in the spotlight, which still often suffer from a lack of image", a indiqué Aurélia Tremblaye, SVP & Group CPO chez Engie, membre du jury, lors de la remise du prix. "This informative and innovative experience is also a fun and original medium to give another image of the buyers' profession beyond the purchasing ecosystem", summarized Bertrand Gabriel, founding president and development director of Acxias, in his thanks to the 24 jurors and the thousands of voters.

A month earlier, the candidates of the 93 applications in the running had come to "pitch" their project during a Grand Oral. Regarding Purple's presentation, Alain Bensimhon, CEO of BPCE Achats explained that the jury was "enthusiastic about the quality of the presentation, extremely dynamic and which, in 3 minutes, made you want to watch all the episodes". Also, while cThis was part of the selection criteria, “we therefore chose to distinguish this dossier by awarding it a special prize”. In agreement with these remarks, Aurélia Tremblaye added that the jurors had found “the video very well done, the refreshing initiative”.

In this first season of four episodes, Purple first explains how, in 2023, a digital purchasing solution can simplify and secure operations, with a reduction in costs and processing times. The following three episodes detail the advantages of such a solution for purchasing, supplies and supplier accounting teams, but also for applicants (specifiers, end users), then address the calculation of the return on investment of a “digital purchasing” project. .

Thus Purple manages to successfully combine lightness and information in an attractive and above all innovative format.
