SAP announces the launch of Digital Supplier Network (DSN), a solution that allows ETIs and SMEs using SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA to digitize the supply chain and financial exchanges with their suppliers in a matter of weeks at a lower cost, including the ordering process, consumption forecasts, logistics monitoring, electronic invoice (tax dematerialization) and downstream payment tracking and optimization. Introduced a few weeks ago, at a time when the economy needed support and innovative solutions, this offer is based on the Ariba Network, one of the largest business-to-business exchange networks in the world, which currently has some 4.7 million companies.
According to the publisher, the financial services and purchases of early customers could have seen immediate gains, both in terms of productivity, cash flow and invoice processing time, for an "impressive and rapid" return on investment.
