According to IDC, the global market for digital purchasing solutions grew by 6.6% in 2019 to $5.6 billion, slightly down from the 11.4% recorded a year earlier. At the top of the seven publishers totaling half of cumulative revenue, SAP has more than $1.4 billion in sales (up 8.7%), including from its sap Ariba, Concur and Fieldglass specialty solutions. This is followed by two actors with opposite dynamics, Oracle (-4.3%) Coupa (up 17.4%), followed by Jaggaer and Infor. The first French publishers reached beyond the Top 20, starting with Synertrade (Econocom group) and Ivalua. Among the major trends, IDC emphasizes the inexorable breakthrough of the cloud, which already accounts for 55% of the market, the rise of business networks, the integration of smart technologies and the development of e-commerce-type interfaces.
